Ten Chuck Norris-style facts about Hofstra's Charles Jenkins

When the final buzzer sounded on Hofstra's 92-90 overtime victory over James Madison last week, star guard Charles Jenkins sprinted toward the student section and leapt over the railing and into the arms of his peers.

"They stuck with us even when we got way down," Jenkins told the Washington Post. "They were still chanting 'defense' when we weren't playing very much of it. I just wanted to share that moment with them."

The moment was symbolic of the reverence Hofstra fans have for Jenkins, perhaps the most overlooked All-American candidate in the country. The senior is averaging 23.2 points and 5.1 assists and has led Hofstra into contention in the rugged Colonial Athletic Association this season.
