Former UCLA guard Cameron Dollar and his Seattle University team recently finished a historic first season of full Division I play. The team posted a winning record and ended the year with victories in eight of its last nine games despite playing a majority of road games with players originally recruited for Division II play.
But none of that helped Dollar in a recent faculty vs. students charity game at the school. With time expiring, a student drained a 3-pointer directly over the Seattle coach to give the students a victory. (In the faculty's defense, students could "buy" points during the game, with all money going to the Make-A-Wish foundation.)
