Marcus Smart apologizes to teammates via Twitter after four-point outing in win
Marcus Smart didn't get off to a good start Saturday against West Virginia. The Oklahoma State sophomore missed his first four field goal attempts and committed two turnovers in the opening 10 minutes.
When he picked up his second foul with 7 minutes, 24 seconds remaining in the first half, he went to the bench and showed his frustration by kicking a chair.
It was not the only moment of frustration for Smart in the Cowboys' 81-75 win. He was held to just four points in 25 minutes, his lowest scoring output of the season and only the third time this season he has been held to single digits. Smart went 1-for-7 but did grab five rebounds and dish four assists.
Still, he was understandably disappointed in himself for showing his frustration during the game and the way he played. He eventually fouled out of the game and also committed three turnovers. Smart took to Twitter after the game an apologized to his teammates.

Former Duke star and current ESPN analyst Jay Williams responded to Smart's tweets with a note of encouragement.
