Hampton won Tuesday night's play-in game against Manhattan, a rousing 74-64 victory. Its reward? A matchup with mighty Kentucky. Good luck with that.

Hampton coach Edward Joyner Jr. knows the odds against his team are astronomically long, so he decided to appeal to a higher power. He pretended (we assume he was pretending) to get Jesus Himself on the phone. But when asked about how to handle the Wildcats, Jesus apparently hung up. Even Jesus is taking Kentucky.

Hampton tips off against Kentucky at 9:40 ET Thursday night. Between their coach's comedy and their bench's stage routine, this is a fun team. Shame they probably won't be around too long.
