Duke guard Nolan Smith shares his 'hidden talent' with us

If fans of opposing ACC teams are looking for a little extra ammunition to use against this year's Duke squad, they might want to listen to Blue Devils star Nolan Smith trying his hand at R&B.

In Smith included a YouTube clip of himself belting R&B group Dru Hill's 1997 No. 1 hit "In My Bed." It starts out surprisingly not awful but deteriorates as soon as Smith tries to hit a high note, a plight the senior guard blames on a scratchy throat.

Why would Smith choose to unveil his, um, hidden talent? Well, according to this blog post he loves his Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne and Miley Cyrus but wanted to show he has "a soft side" too. Admitting that he enjoys Miley probably also counts as part of Smith's "soft side," but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Smith becomes the third key figure from this year's national title game to have shared his singing ability with us this year. Bragging rights on the court definitely belong to Smith, but it's hard to say whether his crooning was better than Brad Stevens' monotone rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" or Gordon Hayward's ill-fated freestyle rapping.
