Lou Galante began his Thanksgiving looking forward to an annual tradition of playing in a spirited Turkey Bowl football game with friends and family in Ben Avon, Pa., just outside Pittsburgh. Little did he know that his plans would quickly, and dramatically, change.

Once he got to the Turkey Bowl, Galante, a 23-year-old assistant basketball coach from nearby Emsworth, Pa., was approached by former Steelers great Chris Hoke and the Doritos brand to see if he wanted to make a bold decision and drop what he was doing right then, get whisked away in a private jet to Baltimore and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience at that night’s Steelers-Ravens showdown.

Galante said yes, and his adventure began. Along the way, he got a first-hand, on-field look at Thursday night’s Steelers-Ravens showdown, went behind the scenes with the teams and personnel, and met with Steelers President Art Rooney.

Check out the video above for a full look at Galante’s full experience from start to finish.
