Position statement: Release could be wakeup call for Young

The Detroit Lions have released wide receiver Titus Young, a second round draft pick from 2011. Mike Florio says the Lions will have to wait and see if cutting Young will be the wakeup call he needs to go elsewhere and become a great player, much like what happened with Jacoby Jones in Baltimore after he was released by Houston. To release Young, Florio thinks the Lions came to the conclusion that nothing would get through to the wide receiver.
