For the first time since 2010, a restricted free agent has signed an offer sheet with another team, which has led to some to question if there is collusion between teams. The New England Patriots have signed Steelers receiver Emmanuel Sanders an offer sheet, which could easily be matched by Pittsburgh. This is a surprising move by the Patriots, because if the Steelers don’t match the offer sheet, New England will have to surrender a third round pick and it’s unlike Bill Belichick to give up early round picks.
