One day after Carson Palmer became the quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals, star linebacker Daryl Washington was suspended for the first four games of the 2013 season, for abusing the substance abuse policy. First time offenders of the substance abuse policy don’t receive four game suspensions, so this was clearly a lingering problem for Washington and the Cardinals. Will the Cardinals be able to survive his absence for the first quarter of the season?
