One thing to know: The 49ers begin to lock up young talent

The San Francisco 49ers have started locking up their young talent. OT Anthony Davis signed a five-year extension worth $37.3 million. According to Mike Florio, the key is to try and decide which young players are necessary in order to remain successful. Two big names that are next on the list are LB Aldon Smith and QB Colin Kaepernick. Expect those two to be asking for big time contracts, immediately after this season.
