There is a point during every fast break when the ball-handler must decide his recourse. If he's in the midst of a 2-on-1, it could be a ball fake followed by a pass to a teammate, or a pass fake and a crossover in order to get to the rim himself. But the decision-making process becomes much simpler when there's no defender in sight - unless it's Derrick Williams with the basketball.
