Boston Celtics suffering a ‘team-wide collapse’

When a team loses as often as the Celtics have this season, it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between the losses.

Losses like the one the Celtics suffered to the Suns, however, stay with you.

"This really was a collective letdown," said Celtics Insider, A. Sherrod Blakely. "Not only the players, but I thought Brad [Stevens], he made some bad decisions down the stretch. Certainly the Celtics made enough mistakes collectively where you can’t just put this one on the players or the coaches. This was a team-wide collapse in the fourth for them."

Avery Bradley played limited minutes and had his ups and downs, but was serviceable in general.

"I think he’s going to be ok," said Blakely. "I like the way he was moving defensively. Offensively I like the fact that was able to get to the spots he likes. He’s going to get better as he gets his body and his rhythm back."

Bradley and Rajon Rondo, however, were less than their usual dynamic selves.

The pair combined to shoot 8-for-27, but Blakely notes that both are coming back from injuries and haven't been in a game together in two weeks.
