Tracy McGrady thanks the cities of Toronto, Orlando and Houston in a series of tweeted posters (Photos)

The outpouring of goodwill and cheer following the news about Tracy McGrady's retirement, at least amongst the younger set, has been heartwarming. Few stars have been criticized as intensely as T-Mac in the post-Jordan era, so it was nice to see a whole generation of NBA fans understanding who he was as a player, matched up with his physical limitations alongside his various teams' personnel struggles.

Perhaps in reaction to that goodwill, McGrady's Twitter account sent out three personalized posters on Wednesday, thanking the three cities he made the most impact in as a pro. They can be seen after the jump:

Tracy was also good enough to credit the company behind these images:

New York ("I'll show YOU an expiring contract, pal!"), Detroit ("sorry about that one time I laughed at your coach"), Atlanta ("Apologies for making you watch me run a 1/3 pick and roll with Jannero Pargo"), and San Antonio ("I coulda guarded LeBron, you know ...") were omitted.
