You can buy Marcus Fizer’s tricked-out 1999 Mercedes for a very reasonable price

This is not Marcus Fizer's car, because though Busted Coverage was solid enough in its reporting to find a listing for Fizer's former car on eBay, the former first-round washout of the Chicago Bulls is currently not in possession of this heavily customized 1999 Mercedes CL500. Though Fizer wasn't heavily compensated for his 289-game NBA stint, he has found footing playing for various clubs overseas in the years since his last NBA appearance in 2006. So we very much doubt that this is some telling way of pointing out that Fizer is hard up for cash, as Busted Coverage contends.

Selling the car for $10,000, after an advertised $20,000 worth of mods, is a little bit of bad news. Then again, the seller on the eBay listing couldn't even be bothered to spell Fiser's name correctly, so we're not sure who to trust in this instance. What we do know is that a very shiny Merc coupe with a very heavy speaker system plopped in the back can be yours for about half the price of that sensible new Volkswagen Jetta you were considering.
