Sure, real, actual, honest-to-goodness regular-season games start up in just a few hours. That doesn't mean we don't have time for the sort of social-media-shared ephemera that helped us get through the last four months, though. (We're all about ephemera here at BDL.)
So, that in mind: Pop quiz, hotshot. Which of these two brief slam-dunk snippets do you find superior?
First, there is Sacramento Kings rookie guard Ben McLemore going very, very high off the bounce with the left hand:
(Sound use of the slow-motion video feature on the iPhone 5s, guys.)
Granted, jumping over something is typically more impressive than jumping over nothing, but I'm going to have to go with McLemore's throwdown here. Respect your elders, Andre. Jeez. (Also, maybe get your buddies to pipe down a bit. Silence can be golden, you know.)
So we can already pencil McLemore in for the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend, then, right? He sure seems ready. All those in favor: say aye in the comments. All opposed: you can say nay there, too, if you'd like, although I'm not sure why you'd say no when it feels so good to say yes.
