Atlanta leaves tickets for Jameer Nelson to catch the second round

Atlanta Hawks public relations guru Arthur Triche is one of the more accessible and visible media relation employees that the NBA has to offer. He's a hoot (a hoot, I say!) to follow on Twitter, and right to the point when dealing with all manner of media as he guards the narrative surrounding his beloved Hawks.

So when the Hawks made it to the second round, earning a chance to take on the Chicago Bulls, Triche couldn't pass up the chance to let Orlando Magic guard Jameer Nelson hear it.

Wait, Jameer Nelson?

As many of you saw Monday night on TV (give me a break, I was watching the actual court while at the United Center), Triche left two nosebleed tickets for Nelson at Will Call, because the Magic guard was bold enough to say "I'll catch you in the second round" to Bulls guard Derrick Rose after Rose's Bulls topped the Magic in a regular-season game last month.

(Apologies for the annoying repetitiveness of the video.)

Triche's Hawks dropped the Magic in the first round, ending any chance for Nelson to "catch" anything but a pair of free ducats in the United Center's upper deck. Nelson, sadly, declined the gift. Probably for tax purposes.
