For Chase purposes, the wreck that took out both Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch was probably the most devastating of the week, at least for their title hopes. But this late-race wreck, involving both Mark Martin and Denny Hamlin, was one of the roughest of the day, sending Regan Smith hard into the wall. Thankfully, Smith was fine, but Martin's absence left Jeff Gordon without a partner, and you know how that turned out.
Talladega still has big wrecks, it's just that they involve four cars instead of 20. It's your call as to whether that's better for the sport or not.
