Racing returns to the track for the first time since Dan Wheldon's death last weekend, and NASCAR is planning a tribute to the late IndyCar driver.

This weekend at Talladega, all NASCAR teams will have the B-post decal pictured at right on their cars. Wheldon would wear a version of the "Lionheart" logo on all of his helmets, and NASCAR will provide helmet stickers to all drivers. In addition, there will be a moment of silence to honor Wheldon before the invocations of both Saturday's trucks race and Sunday's Sprint Cup race.

Also on Sunday, IndyCar will hold a public memorial at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. A fund has been set up to provide for Wheldon's family; the public can make contributions to the following address:

Fifth Third Private Bank
Attn: Dan Wheldon Family Trust
251 North Illinois St.
Suite 1000
Indianapolis, IN 46204

Fans can also visit the Dan Wheldon Memorial site to learn more about planned tributes and other ways to honor Wheldon's life and legacy.
