Steven Wallace is guaranteed a starting spot in the Daytona 500

The annual owner's points shuffle has begun.

Steven Wallace will make his Sprint Cup debut in February's Daytona 500 after his dad, Rusty Wallace, struck a deal with his former car owner Roger Penske for the owner's points to the No. 77 car that was driven by Sam Hornish Jr. in 2010.

The No. 77 was left without a sponsor at the end of the season when Mobil 1 left to partner with Tony Stewart and Stewart-Haas Racing, leaving Penske with just two cars for Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch.

SB Nation's Jeff Gluck pointed out Steven Wallace's Nationwide Series restrictor plate career on Twitter over the weekend.

Wallace was none too happy, and yes, feel free to note the irony in his tweet.

Hornish won't be in the 2011 500, but will be running at least 10 Nationwide races for Penske in 2011.

So, how excited are you for Wallace's debut at Daytona? Be careful what you say below, though, because you may get called out.
