Hey, everybody loves current points leader Kevin Harvick, right? And anybody who doesn't loves free stuff, right? Well, good news -- the fine folks at Shell/Pennzoil are giving away a sleek-looking No. 29 car! Not a real one, fool; a 1:24 diecast like that one there at right.
But we're not giving you this for free. (Well, actually, we are. But you gotta work for it.) Here's the deal: I want to see some good Harvick Photoshops out of you folks. You've got plenty to work with here -- celebrating his win in Atlanta, looking for a new sponsor, fighting with Carl Edwards, Delana, you name it. (And no, no snarky comments about how they're clearing these things off the shelves. Be nice.)
While talent with Photoshop will be considered, so will inventiveness and imagination. A good idea poorly executed could beat out a spectacular-looking dud joke. So have at it! Send your entries by noon Eastern time on Tuesday, May 11 to firstname.lastname@example.org. The legal stuff: not responsible for lost or misdirected entries, judges' decisions are final, no hurt feelings permitted or acknowledged.
Oh, and read this: "When Pennzoil and Shell Oil Company began a multi-year agreement in 2007 with Richard Childress Racing as the primary sponsor of the No. 29 Chevrolet driven by Kevin Harvick, an important technical support program between Pennzoil and RCR began as well. Pennzoil scientists worked directly with the race team to engineer their most technologically advanced motor oil available on the market, Pennzoil Ultra™." Got that?
Some samples of my own Photoshopping genius are below. I expect better out of you. Go!
