Tip for race officials: don't go doing something as silly as trying to ban burnouts.
Your scene: the Barbagallo Raceway in Perth, Australia, where officials of the V8 Supercar race decreed that there would be no postrace burnouts permitted. And, as you'll see, the drivers naturally agreed and snapped right in line:
Best part of this? The terrified race official in white telling those crazy kids to SLOW DOWN!
The three drivers, Jamie Whincup, Jason Bright and Garth Tander, were "reprimanded" for their breach of etiquette. The drivers, of course, didn't much care for that.
"We're not allowed to show any emotion and put on a show for the people who pay the money to come watch us race," Tander said. "It was absolutely silly that we all got told off after [a previous race]. What a joke."
Garth, Garth, Garth. You're going to have to up your game if you ever want to run in NASCAR. Three sentences and no sponsor mention? That's worthy of a reprimand right there.
