Jeff Gordon and Ingrid Vandebosch welcome second child

The Sprint Cup baby boom continues. Jeff Gordon's wife, Ingrid Vandebosch, gave birth to Leo Benjamin Gordon at 8:53 a.m. Monday, according to a release on Gordon's site.

"He's happy and healthy and Mom is doing great," Gordon said in a release.

Gordon had Aric Almirola on standby at Pocono and Scott Pruett available at Watkins Glen, but much like Jimmie Johnson after the birth of his daughter Genevieve Marie, Gordon won't miss any track time.

Leo's the fifth Sprint Cup baby of the season, with Sam Hornish Jr., Jamie McMurray and Ryan Newman all expectant fathers.

Gordon and Vandebosch's daughter, Ella, turned 3 in June.
