If you got up this morning and checked Yahoo! Sports for the Camping World Truck Series results, no, you're not missing anything. And heck, it wasn't even a rain delay.
The lights went out both at and around the track, and except for a few auxiliary lights that were on, the track was covered in darkness.
One would think that the trucks would have been able to have enough light using their headlights... wait, you say that the headlights are stickers? What the heck? Next you're going to tell me that they don't have air conditioning.
But wouldn't it have been cool if Gateway simply asked their fans to all park behind the outside wall and turn their headlights on? That'd be a race for the ages, or until Bubba Dotson's RV over in turn four had a power failure on the last lap and Todd Bodine and Mike Skinner hit the wall because they couldn't see.
The race will run at 1:30 ET Saturday on SPEED, part of a day-night doubleheader with the Nationwide race.
