What’d you miss? Oh, just a Cup driver winning a Nationwide race

Sunday was a great opportunity for the Nationwide regulars, right? It was a standalone race on a Cup off weekend with just one Cup driver in the field.

Problem is, that one Cup driver won, as Joey Logano outran teammate Sam Hornish for the victory. If we count AJ Allmendinger as a Cup driver, just three Nationwide drivers have won this season; Sam Hornish at Las Vegas, Regan Smith at Talladega and Michigan and Trevor Bayne at Iowa.

Perhaps the most eventful part of Sunday's race was Reed Sorenson's e-cigarette sponsored car going up in smoke after blowing an engine. It was at least the most ironic, if nothing else.

Now the countdown starts to Eldora. We've got two more days until a NASCAR national series race on dirt. Should be pretty fun.
