Watch out below, Chip!
As Charlie Kimball was driving towards the checkered flag during Sunday's IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio, Ganassi was getting ready to celebrate his driver's first career victory on the pit wall. And when the celebration officially started as Kimball crossed the finish line, Ganassi found himself face first on pit road.
Thankfully Ganassi, who owns the cars of Kimball, Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti in the IndyCar Series and Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya in the Sprint Cup Series, was unhurt. He simply brushed himself off and continued over towards Kimball's car. And he'll likely be watching out for pit walls next time one of his drivers wins a race.
