My bad! Earnhardt cuts Gordon’s tire, ends 24′s day early
Alas, poor Junior. Right about the time he gets over the whole "ramming into Mark Martin" Las Vegas two-step, he goes and takes out, purely by accident, teammate Jeff Gordon. As you can see in the video above, Junior's tailpipe cut Gordon's tire, and that, as they say, was that.
"Thank you, Junior! Appreciate it, buddy," Gordon sarcastically seethed over the radio. He later added that
"Well, at least they won't be talking about me and Mark Martin any more," Earnhardt said over his own radio. No, they most certainly won't.
