White UFC 108 vlog: Gomi is signed and Henderson is a chimp

Is it me, or are the Dana White video blogs getting weirder? After his assault on the media earlier this week, White spends much of his latest vlog shaking hands, giving bro-hugs and driving.

Skip ahead to the 4:30 mark to see Japanese lightweight fighter Takanori Gomi, the UFC's latest signee, stare blankly at the camera as White talks about how nobody knows that "The Fireball Kid" was signed. Except ... MMA Fighting broke that story last night.

The other items of note in the video blog are the weird flashes of a picture of Dan Henderson. At the very end of the video, we see the payoff, with a picture of Hendo pasted onto a chimp's body. That's hilarious? No, not really.

It's becoming more clear with every vlog that these are not about giving fans and media a behind-the-scenes look at the UFC and White's job. The vlogs are just one more opportunity for White to settle scores and push his agenda. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as you know that before you spend six minutes of your life watching it.
