Few injuries in MMA were as gruesome as Corey Hill's broken leg at the UFC Fight for the Troops. The broken leg resulted in Hill being out of the fight game for at least 18 months, meaning that he won't be making sponsor or fight money anytime soon. As we've discussed, the UFC is paying for all of his medical costs, but he still needs help supporting his family.
The Xtreme Cagefighting Federation heard of Hill's plight, and decided to donate a portion of their proceeds from this weekend's card to the "Corey Hill Get Well Fund." All of the money made from a poster signing, and one dollar from each $9.95 online, pay-per-view purchase will go to Hill.
The card isn't all no-names, either. It is headlined by former UFC and PRIDE fighter, Frank Trigg. Terry Martin, who has fought for the UFC and WEC, and TUF cast members Jesse Taylor and Jeremy May are also on the card.
It's not like you were doing anything this Saturday. Valentine's Day? Please. Spend $10 on the card, and help out the Corey Hill, since you have forwarded the video of his injury to all of your friends to gross them out. You can buy the pay-per-view at the XCF Web site.
