Just another day at the office for Chris Lytle. The guy stepped into the cage for the 51st time of his career and put on another entertaining battle. Lytle, a seven-time recipient of UFC postfight bonuses, may have another on the way. He escaped a first round choke to survive and make it to the second round where his experience paid off. Matt Brown got a little loose with his defense, got nailed by an uppercut and hit the deck. That's where Lytle let his submission game take over, scoring a win by kimura in the second round.
Lytle (29-17-5, 8-9 UFC) may not be anywhere closer to a title shot at 170 but he's certainly earned himself many more fights and paydays with the UFC. The same goes from Brown in a defeat. They're both gamers and always deliver a good show.
