Miller wins easily, local fighters shine on Strikeforce undercard

Following their custom, Strikeforce started their event in Nashville with several local fighters and one big name fight.

Heading into tonight's bout with Tim Stout, Jason "Mayhem" Miller was a 13-1 favorite. He met Vegas' expectations, TKOing Stout at 3:09 in the first round. Stout was hardly a test for Miller, whose last bout was a five-round loss to Jake Shields. Miller will now go on to face Robbie Lawler.

In other undercard action, Cody Floyd scored a third-round knockout after dominating Thomas Campbell for the entire fight. Dustin Ortiz notched a first round submission of Justin Pennington. Zach Underwood, Andrew Uhrich and Cale Yarbrough walked away winners, and the last undercard fight was also the fastest. Ovince St. Preaux TKOed Chris Hawk in 0:47 of the first round.
