Jon Jones, Alexander Gustafsson show off UFC 165 battle wounds at hospital (Photo)

Jon Jones went into his UFC 165 scrap against Alexander Gustafsson virtually untested throughout his MMA career. His 10-fight winning streak included five title fight victories against former UFC champions.

None of those champs, though, gave Jones the kind of trouble that Gustafsson did on Saturday. The five-round war between the two was nearly stopped heading into the final round due to a massive cut above the champion's right eye. In the end, though, Jones' spinning elbows and leg kicks were enough to win a unanimous decision.

Both fighters went to the hospital immediately afterwards in lieu of attending the post-fight press conference, and it was there that this little bit of awesome came via Alexander Gustafsson's Facebook page.

Jones and Gustafsson each received a 60-day medical suspension, according to the Ontario Office of the Athletics Commissioner (OAC).

Jon Jones was suspended for a minimum of 60 days and needs to get a CT scan or MRI, and an x-ray prior to his return.

In the Octagon after the fight, Jones had nothing but praise for Gustafsson.

"Man, I'll tell you what, I've been asking for a dogfight for a long time, and I finally got that dogfight I've been looking for," Jones said.
