Grove announces he's back with a TKO of Day

Today was not Jason's Day. After starting with some strong punching in the clinch, Jason Day ended up on the ground from a huge Kendall Grove right. Grove then jumped on Day to ensure the TKO. Referee Rick Fike, who had previously stopped the Nelson/Riley fight prematurely, stepped in after Day was clearly done and called the win for Grove.

This fight was incredibly important for Grove, as Dana White said on Thursday that Grove needed a win or he would be cut from the UFC. After the fight, he said that he had been leaving his family for training, and that was difficult. He then announced that he was (expletive) back. With this win, he is definitely more secure in his employment with the UFC.
