After the drama, UFC 115 will happen in Vancouver

Earlier this week, the UFC's planned visit to British Columbia seemed in jeopardy because of questions on insurance. Thursday night, the UFC confirmed via press release that UFC 115 in Vancouver is on. From the release:

"Our Canadian fans are among the most loyal and enthusiastic in the world, and we are thrilled to bring the UFC to Vancouver," said Dana White, UFC President. "We want to thank Mayor Gregor Robertson and our partners at Canucks Sports and Entertainment for helping to make UFC 115 become the first UFC event in British Columbia."

Coming off of a mostly-successful Winter Olympics, Vancouver is an excellent position to show off its city to the different audience found in UFC fans, while the UFC is eager to reach a different group of Canadian fans. No fights have been confirmed for this card.
