The question of, "Who is the best pound-for-pound fighter?" comes up whenever two or more MMA fans are gathered. This includes when UFC president Dana White and Versus.com reporter Ariel Helwani show up on the set of the new Versus show, "The Daily Line."
To the shock of no one, White pushes UFC fighters. He makes a strong case for Anderson Silva, pointing out that Silva has successfully fought in different weight classes. Helwani holds onto his number one, Fedor Emelianenko. Silva tops the Yahoo! Sports pound-for-pound poll, followed by Georges St. Pierre and then Emelianenko.
