The movie bug has bitten Cung Le. Can you blame him? His movie with Channing Tatum is set for release next week. It has to pay and feel a lot better than getting punched in the face for a living. But it could mean the Strikeforce middleweight champ is done fighting. He confirmed these thoughts during Dana White's UFC 97 vlog saying his days in the cage might be done (4:25 mark). Le says he's got two more Tatum projects on the way and he's headed to China for some additional work. White responds by saying, good for you, go out on top.
Le also tells Ariel Helwani that he has no thoughts on when he's returning for a fight with Strikeforce. He's got a single focus and that's the premiere of the movie:
Tatum is a hoot in the White vlog. He is a huge MMA fan. Cage Writer saw him during an autograph signing with Le in San Diego and he was nearly attached to the fighter's leg. During the vlog, he is gushing over White (3:30 mark). First, he gets snubbed on a hug. Then he comments on how great White's physique is. Easy big fella, you're only a movie fighter.
