Thanks to @Dodgers_History on Twitter, we have a photo to go with the story Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully told in 2012 about himself, Jackie Robinson and Rachel Robinson going ice skating in the Catskills. It was "a loooong time ago," Scully says, when Rachel Robinson was seven or eight months pregnant. Further, Scully says, Jackie Robinson wanted to race him.

Here's an excerpt of Scully's testimonial:

"So Jackie is putting his skates on in the dressing room and he says, 'When we get out there, I'd like to race you.' I'm like, 'Jack, I didn't know you ice skated. You're from southern California. I mean, football and baseball, but I didn't know ice skating.'

"And Jackie said, 'I've never been on skates in my life. ... I want to race you because that's how I'm going to learn.'

"If you've never been on skates before, the first thing you do is walk on your ankles. And, sure enough, he was running on his ankles, trying to beat me."

Scully won, and Rachel Robinson didn't fall, though Scully says his heart was in his throat the whole time.
