A toast to the 2013 Cleveland Indians

Big League Stew

Editor's note: Our MLB Toasts got derailed during the stretch run and postseason, but we're back to say goodbye to the rest of the league. Follow @BigLeagueStew on Twitter and await our call for submissions for more toasts. Next up, the Cleveland Indians.

Hey, Cleveland, good times in 2013. The Indians were better than expected. Terry Francona hopped on board and won the Manager of the Year. The Tribe went to the playoffs via a wild card. Not bad, right? Definitely deserving to a toast.

To the Cleveland Indians, for being the most bro-tastic team in baseball thanks to Nick Swisher. To the Indians, for really getting behind the "Major League" thing. Like this. And this. And this too. To the Indians, for letting Jason Giambi hang out and hit homers and for bringing Scott Kazmir back to life. To the Indians, for having about the luckiest fan around. But no toast for you, Clevelanders for leaving the Indians near the bottom of MLB attendance. Tsk, tsk. On that note: Chris Perez's dog.

We're not going to bogart this toast. Here's what a couple of people had to say about the 2013 Indians. Add your own toast in the comments.

ALREADY: Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, Minnesota Twins, Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Angels, Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays.
