Tim Lincecum hasn't needed any do-over while pitching in relief this postseason. In five appearances out of the bullpen, the San Francisco Giants pitcher has thrown 13 innings, striking out 17 batters while allowing only one run, three hits and two walks.

Lincecum wasn't as smooth, however, while talking about putting the Giants on the brink of another World Series title with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief against the Detroit Tigers in Saturday's night 2-0 Game 3 victory. Watch as Lincecum describes his hunger for a title, only to realize his quote is going to end up being taken out of context on every sports blog ever.
Lincecum was in a great mood in the clubhouse after the game and it's clear he's looking forward to celebrating another World Series title. It'd really be something to see him earn the final out of this one after humbly accepting the bullpen role from Bruce Bochy, though he'd be just as glad to see the eccentric Sergio Romo doing whatever celebration move he's planning for a possible clincher.
