Spoiler alert! Mariners beat A’s in opener

Apologies to the handful of folks watching the tape-delayed game on MLB Network, but we have a final from Tokyo: A 3-1 Seattle Mariners victory over the Oakland A's in 11 innings to officially start the 2012 baseball season. Ichiro collected four hits in his first MLB game on Japanese soil while Dustin Ackley hit a fourth-inning home run and added the go-ahead RBI in the 11th. Both starters — Seattle's Felix Hernandez and Oakland's Brandon McCarthy — turned in solid debuts. We'll do it all again Thursday morning as the Tokyo Dome gives us a look at our glorious baseball-filled future.

Make sure you're ready for opening day ...
