Nick Swisher forced by teammates to execute solo hip bump

Oh, vindication, how sweet you taste! After seeing my fight against the hip bump only heard by Eric Byrnes and the ears of the wiser-than-their-years Brewers, it has apparently started to gain some traction around other MLB clubhouses.

For proof, watch this video of Nick Swisher's hip bump attempt being completely ignored in the White Sox dugout after his 100th career home run on Wednesday. While sources tell me that Ken Griffey would have joined him if he could actually jump that high, it's heart-warming to see the rest of the Sox present a unified front in the face of Swisher's insistence of bumping hips.

As Hawk Harrelson, would say, this dumb fad is almost "OVAH!"

Thanks to for ripping the vid.
