Melky Cabrera on disabled list with ‘severe embarrassment’ after horrible, horrible throw

OK, so that headline isn't entirely accurate. These things are true: Melky Cabrera attempted to throw a ball Thursday night and it went horribly, horribly wrong. He is now on the disabled list. It's not officially for "severe embarrassment," but c'mon, you watch the GIF and tell me otherwise:

The Blue Jays announced Friday that Cabrera was headed to the disabled list with a left knee strain. If you say so, Toronto.

Cabrera, of course, is one of the players connected to the Biogenesis scandal. His fate is up in the air, but many reports suggest since he was already suspended last season he won't face more punishment from MLB.

While we wait for that, we do know that he's facing plenty of embarrassment for this "throw." And before you ask, no, there's no PED to help Cabrera not throw a ball backward.

Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
