Matt Kemp visits ‘Sesame Street,’ teaches us all about attachment

Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp is so cool that he dates famous singers and gets pictured on the Big League Chew package. He also gets to hang out on "Sesame Street."

Here's a preview of Kemp's guest spot on the iconic kids show. He's doing a "Word of the Day" segment with a fluttery Muppet named Abby. See more Thursday, March 28 on PBS.

As you see in the video, Kemp talks all about attaching things. Even getting a bunch of sippy cups attached to his jersey in a move that's sure to win him big points with the mom-crowd — as if that big grin of his didn't already.

As baseball fans, though, we're curious if Kemp learned how to attach any of the following:

• A new thumb to Hanley Ramirez's hand?

• Dodgers spring phenom Yasiel Puig to an opening-day roster?

• His own finger to a World Series ring? He has until October to figure that out.
