John Smoltz stood on a chair to put on Randy Johnson's Hall of Fame cap

Here's the best picture from Wednesday's press conference in New York to introduce baseball's next Hall of Fame class. John Smoltz helped Randy Johnson put on his Hall of Fame cap, but he needed to get up on a chair to do so.

The Big Unit really is big, if you've forgotten. Like 6-foot-10.

Pedro Martinez and Craig Biggio, the other two players elected Tuesday, were there too. Apparently they did not need anybody on a chair helping them with their caps.

Johnson will be the tallest player in Cooperstown when he's actually enshrined in July. Hopefully the Hall of Fame folks get all the right measurements for him by then, because his jersey was also hilariously big.

You might have been able to fit Pedro Martinez in there too. Combining Pedro and the Big Unit? That'd be heck of a pitcher.
