If David Ortiz weren't a baseball player, he'd want to be a pornstar

Big League Stew

Ask anyone you know what job they would have if they could do anything, and are large portion would probably say professional athlete. The money is good, the ego boost is nice and the opportunity to be loved and adored by an entire fanbase is enticing. Many people dream about it.

Well, what happens when you're already a professional athlete? The Player's Tribune attempted to find out. The website runs a series titled "What the (Blank)?" which asks 10 questions to a popular athlete.

One of those questions is, "My dream job (if I wasn't an athlete) would be ... " Let's take a look at how Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz answered that question.

We've adjusted our glasses and performed enough double takes that we nearly gave ourselves whiplash, but we're almost certain that says "pornstar."

There are a lot of wisecracks we could make here at The Stew that connect baseball with porn, but we have integrity, and we won't do it. We only say that after our first 14 joke attempts were rejected by our editors.

We will say this, though. We feel as if we know David Ortiz a little better today. We're not sure if that's a good thing, but it's a fact.

Honestly, though, Ortiz has always been an entertaining personality, and this is just more proof of that. Does he really want to be a pornstar, or is he just feeding into his persona?

There's only one way to find out, we guess.
