Fredbird the Cardinals mascot rides a mechanical bull because of course (Video)

The caption on the Vine account for the St. Louis Cardinals says it all: "This is really happening." It's not a dream or PED trip that Fredbird, the team's longtime mascot, is riding a mechanical bull at the new Ballpark Village across the street from Busch Stadium. It opened to the public Thursday night and among the special events were a concert by Third Eye Blind and a guy in a cardinal costume holding onto a fake steer for dear life.

Fredbird must have missed the signs for the dress code that say no jerseys allowed when it's not a game day. Hopefully he wasn't tossed out on his tail.

Here's another angle of Fredbird's ride, which is no less funny or silly.
