Derek Jeter is apparently not familiar with Logan Morrison’s Twitter fame (Video)

Wednesday night's episode of "The Franchise" had some good moments but none better than when Miami Marlins designated tweeter Logan Morrison said hello to Derek Jeter as the New York Yankees star arrived at the All-Star media day in Kansas City — but only got a handshake and a blank look in return.

As our pal Angela Sun at the Yahoo! Sports Minute points out, it's clear that the Captain isn't among Morrison's 115K-plus followers on the social media service:

Of course, it'd probably help Morrison's quest for recognition by Jeter if he actually made an All-Star team before Jeter retires. LoMo's .743 OPS was nowhere near good enough to get him on the NL squad this season and he was only in his hometown of Kansas City to meet his idol George Brett in front of Showtime's cameras.

Luckily that meeting worked out a bit better for Morrison.
