Couple dressed as Ninja Turtles gets engaged at Fresno Grizzlies' TMNT night

The Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies, affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, went all out Saturday night for their "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" theme night. The players wore awesome "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" jerseys, fans turned out in masses, Nickelodeon sent out actual costumed Ninja Turtles, kids at the game got cool lunch boxes mashing-up the Ninja Turtles and the Grizzlies' logo and the team's mascot dressed up like Master Splinter.

But the most memorable moment of the night for two Ninja Turtle-loving Grizzlies fans wasn't any of those things. It was when a guy dropped to one knee on the field and asked his girlfriend to marry him. Oh, and they were both dressed like Ninja Turtles. In green face and everything.

After watching this, you'll have a hard time forgetting this wonderfully weird cosplay proposal. It's a rather unique story they can tell their grandkids someday, that's for sure.

These TMNT jerseys have brought the Grizzlies plenty of attention — from the MLB Fan Cave to "Olbermann." The team's store sold out completely of Fresno Grizzlies/TMNT T-shirts on Saturday night, but it plans to restock with more this week. TMNT fans in other parts of the country can order online.

Here are some photos from what was a memorable night at the ballpark in more ways than one.

There's only one thing left to be said: Cowabunga, dudes and dudettes.
