CC Sabathia and Mark Teixeira go on Jimmy Fallon to perform scene from ‘August: Osage County’ wearing women’s wigs

It's great that Jimmy Fallon can get ballplayers to do anything. He got Matt Harvey to walk the streets of New York asking people if they knew who Matt Harvey was. Now, he's gotten two stars on the New York Yankees to don women's wigs and act out a scene from "August: Osage County."

CC Sabathia apparently is playing the daughter (Julia Roberts in the movie) and Mark Teixeira is playing the mom (Meryl Streep). That's about right. Here are their lines:

CC: Do I need makeup, mom?

Teix: All women need makeup. You could get a decent man if you spruced up. A bit — that's all I'm saying.

CC: I'm not looking for a man!

Teix: There are a lot of losers out there. Don't think I know that? But just because you got a bad one last time doesn't mean —

CC: Barry wasn't a loser.

Teix: Barry was an ass—

CC: [Slaps Teix].

It's not going to win them any Tonys, but good thespian impersonations, boys. And CC — looking slim! Catch ya' down at Toots Shor's.

Note: Jimmy Fallon is never going to be the next Johnny Carson if he can't do better at stopping himself from laughing during the skits.
