Carly Rae Jepsen, the ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer, definitely throws out a horrible first pitch

Carly Rae Jepsen should have just quit while she was ahead. The pop singer who gave us the mind-numbing hit "Call Me Maybe" threw out the first pitch at a Baltimore Orioles game in April and she did just fine. Especially considering what we saw quarterback Denard Robinson do around the same time and especially considering she hangs out with Justin Bieber.

Fast forward to Sunday, Jepsen was called on again to throw out another first pitch, this time at the Tampa Bay Rays-Houston Astros game. This time she botched it, and she botched bad. This time — as far as horrible pop star first pitches go — she was in Mariah Carey territory (and let's face it, Carly Rae, this is probably the only time you'll be compared to Mariah).

It's up for debate whether Jepsen's first pitch is worse than Korean pop star Tiffany Hwang, who did the honors at a Dodgers game in May. It's pretty close.

To her credit, Jepsen's seemed to be able to laugh at herself — which is good because people will be laughing at her for the next day or so.

Baseball season's in full swing. Don't miss a thing.
