With the 2010 season now underway, look below to find our projections for the year ahead. Feel free to us them against in the coming months as we're proven terribly wrong.
Kevin Kaduk's World Series prediction: Yankees over Rockies in five
I don't think The Bronx is building dynasty to rival the late-'90s run, but there's too much talent peaking with the Yankees to not repeat as World Series champs. Meanwhile, there's a lot of media murmurs about a World Series rerun, but I think the bullpen issues eventually have to catch up with the Phillies. Featuring a complete rotation, a solid pen and a great lineup, the Rockies will step in to assume the Senior Circuit's spot in the Fall Classic.
NLDS: Phillies over Cardinals, Rockies over Braves
NLCS: Rockies over Phillies
ALDS: Yankees over Twins; Red Sox over Angels
ALCS: Yankees over Red Sox

David Brown's World Series prediction: Phillies over Rays in seven.
A classic World Series, with none of the rain delays and ice bergs featured in 2008. Jayson Werth(notes) will drive in the winning run in the top of the 10th inning of Game 7 to give Philly its second championship in three years. Roy Halladay will be Series MVP. Longoria will hit four homers in the Series, which will turn because of a big Game 6 comeback by the Phillies. Joe Maddon's glasses will be in top form.
NLDS: Phillies over Cardinals; Braves over Rockies
NLCS: Phillies over Braves
ALDS: Rays over Angels; Red Sox over Twins
ALCS: Rays over Red Sox

Alex Remington's World Series prediction: Red Sox over Braves in six
Led by young pitching and Rookie of the Year Jason Heyward, I predict the Braves will make it to the World Series in Bobby Cox's last year as manager, but will fall to the superior firepower of their former crosstown rivals. The Beaneaters had a nice run in 1914 — they even established Jimmy's Kids! — but the city of Boston has since belonged to the Sox. The Braves may steal a game or two behind the strong pitching of Tommy Hanson(notes), but I predict the Sox will win their third World Series in seven seasons.
NLDS: Braves over Dodgers, Cardinals over Phillies
NLCS: Braves over Cardinals
ALDS: Red Sox over Twins, Yankees over Angels
ALCS: Red Sox over Yankees
